Pure Air 10

The Pure Air 10 is part of our premium range of dynamic mattresses and is a true ‘Low Air Loss’ pressure-reducing surface. Purposely positioned micro air loss holes and a high-tech, efficient blower, keep the patient cool and dry.

The mattress reduces interface pressures by immersing the patient into the support surface making it suitable for those up to and including at very high risk of developing pressure wounds and those with existing damage.

It provides superior comfort for patients across both acute hospital and home care environments and is also available as a bariatric option.

    Premium ‘skin kind’ mattress cover:
    Infection control – The water resistant, multi-stretch, breathable cover has welded seams and an antimicrobial coating, ensuring a robust defence against water ingress, whilst promoting effective infection control.

    Multi-functional digital control unit:
    Tailored care – Easy to use, control unit gives Low Air Low, Max Inflate and Seating options.

    Whisper quiet control unit:
    Patient peace – This high specification unit is whisper quiet even at optimum pressures, supporting patient rest and sleep.

    10-inch mattress – 8″ deep cells with 2″ foam base:
    Patient comfort – 20 air cells, all with micro air loss holes, provide a cool and dry surface. Keeping moisture to a minimum can help reduce the risk of moisture lesions, aiding skin integrity.

    Figure of 8 cell / A&B inflation pattern:
    Reduction in motion sensitivity – Figure of 8 shaped cells within the mattress, continuously inflate and deflate in a cyclical pattern. This helps offloading pressure across different areas of the body, preventing prolonged pressure on any single point.

    CPR Valve:
    Protecting patient safety – The CPR function aids rapid deflation when medical emergencies occur.

    Static function with auto return:
    Reducing patient discomfort – Static function enables safer patient transfers, whilst auto-return ensures the surface is not left in firm mode unintentionally. Static function is traditionally used to allow nursing activities, and can also be used to ease transfer.
