The Marsden M-653 Wheelchair Scale is a versatile solution for weighing patients who are unable to stand.The large weighing platform, with ramps on either end, is suitable for almost any wheelchair: a patient can simply be wheeled onto the platform and an accurate weight reading taken. Tare and Preset Tare functions can be used to deduct the weight of the wheelchair.  Additionally, the M-653 has a sturdy handrail to aid those patients that wish to stand, but need support.The indicator supplied with these wheelchair scales provides an accurate weight reading to 100g (up to a capacity of 300kg). Inputting the patient’s height also allows BMI to be calculated. The indicator can be powered by the internal rechargeable battery.A printer is available as an optional extra, so you can provide patients with a printed record of their weight, and the date and time the readings were taken.The platform surface of these wheelchair scales is robust and long-lasting – the M-653 is built to withstand years of regular use in hospitals, care homes, surgeries and rehabilitation centers.
