Britton Price have worked for many years in this unique market where we are working within someone's home. We have developed a full range of innovative products for this environment and tailored our installations to reduce the workload on HA surveyors and minimise the disruption to the residents.

This work has led to the signing of Partnering Agreements with both Anchor Trust and Railway Housing Association for whom we carry out installations and modernisations on a nationwide basis.

Many Housing Association properties around the country have old and non-compliant lifts and are in need of replacement. The main problem is that many of the old shafts are not big enough to install a standard package lift without major builders work or construction of a new lift shaft. This would need planning permission, even if it could be obtained, the lift would need to be relocated, access/fire escape routes changed and valuable room space possibly lost.
