CLS Care Services Group (CLS) have entered into a further three year contract with Britton Price, for the maintenance of all the specialist baths and hoists in the CLS group. This new agreement reflects the success of the working partnership between CLS and Britton Price Ltd. The contract was awarded following a competitive tendering process. This agreement means that Britton Price Ltd will continue to service and maintain the hoists and baths in CLS accommodation schemes.
CLS CARE SERVICES GROUP
CLS Care Services Group was established in 1991 to provide high quality professional care for older people who are no longer able to cope on their own. CLS has 34 purpose-built residences – 19 in Cheshire, 10 in Wigan, four in Warrington and one in Halton. They are not part of the private or commercial sector and all profits are ploughed back into improving care.
CLS are pressing ahead with the re-design of their services across the areas in which they operate, providing homes that are flexible enough to meet the changing needs and expectations of older people now and in the future. Work on their first new village complex began in late 2005.

WORKING WITH BRITTON PRICE LTD
We consider that a Service Contract where we work with a Care Services Group over a number of years is the best way forward. We are able to assess their existing hoists and bathing equipment and to recommend where necessary, remedial works that will keep this equipment safe and working. We are also able to advise when equipment is becoming uneconomical to repair or if an item of equipment should be replaced. The timescale and hence cost of these works may be planned so that they are spread over the life time of the agreement.
