Britton Price has developed a system for widening lift shafts to allow you to have a larger lift car in your existing lift shaft. The Local Authority National Type Approval Certificate allows us to offer this solution anywhere in the country without any further approvals required.

Background
We developed this solution to solve a common complaint from customers that their existing lift was too small and that they did not have the space within their existing lift shaft for a larger lift car.
How does it work?
We make use of the area in front of the lift doors and extend the shaft walls, then cut the floors back to make a larger shaft.
Once completed, we can then install a larger lift car in the bigger shaft with fully automatic doors.
